How does thread analysis work?

Each conversation thread (a message and all its replies) is treated as a single "thesis" — one coherent discussion. We analyze all threads together to find recurring themes, extract entities, and measure sentiment across your community.

What data does CrowdListen access?

Only messages in the channels you explicitly select. Our bot needs Read Message History permission. We never post messages, modify channels, or access DMs.

Can I control which channels are analyzed?

Yes. After adding the bot to your server, you pick exactly which channels to monitor. You can add or remove channels at any time.

How far back does it search?

By default, the last 30 days of messages. This is configurable — you can analyze the last 7 days or up to 90 days depending on your needs.
