Before a run

Check the quote’s readiness, available credits, maximum credits, expiration, and scope. Authorize only the work and spending limit you intend. The run must use the same reviewed inputs and quote hash.

During a run

Keep the task ID and the original request ID. After an uncertain response, inspect task status before retrying; do not create a second task. Usage can remain reserved until it is reconciled. Cancellation stops work where possible. Work already performed can consume credits. A first-20-lead checkpoint requires explicit approval to continue and does not reset the cumulative budget.

After a run

Review the task’s recorded usage and result coverage. Saved result reads remain free. Ask for a new quote before requesting another analysis or broader collection.
